Our take: Taskfolk is for small software teams that run AI coding agents like Claude Code or Codex alongside people on boards and sprints, with a generous free plan and builder seats from $3 per month while viewers stay free.
Main limitation: Free is limited to 5 projects, 128 MB of storage and 25 AI credits a month, and custom roles, SSO and the audit log require a paid plan.

Taskfolk is a project management tool with boards, backlogs, sprints, timelines, docs, goals, reports and automations. Teams can connect AI agents they already run, such as Claude Code, Codex or Cursor, which appear as named workspace members with their own chat, memory and attributed comments, and ask for permission before risky steps.
The product exposes a public REST API and MCP server, live agent event streams over SSE, and imports from Jira, Trello, ClickUp, monday.com, Linear, Asana and CSV. Viewers are free on every plan and only builders are billed.
