What is Nuphos, and how does it work?

Nuphos is a cloud workspace that gives a team and its AI agents a shared environment for DevOps work. Agents keep running in the cloud after the laptop closes, and team members pick up sessions from any device with shared memory and context. The first agent supported is Claude Code, connected through the OpenAB runtime; Nuphos positions itself as the platform around the agent rather than a replacement for it. The product connects to infrastructure once and then issues short-lived, least-privilege credentials per session, records an audit trail and routes risky actions through human approval. Connectors cover AWS, GCP, Cloudflare, GitHub, GitLab, Jira, Linear, Slack, Vanta, Secureframe and others, and the agent can be reached from Slack, Discord or iMessage. The desktop app is offered for macOS, Windows and Linux, and the product is described as being in early access.

Access: Early accessLimit: Only Claude Code via the OpenAB runtime. source (opens in a new tab)

Per-session IAM roles with short-lived, least-privilege credentials

Issues short-lived least-privilege credentials mapped to native IAM roles for each session. Limits what an agent can touch.

Human approval workflow and full audit trail for agent actions

Routes risky actions through human approval and records every action in an audit trail. Gives reviewers control over production changes.

How to use Nuphos for running a cloud DevOps agent with approvals

Set up Nuphos

  1. Request access and download the desktop app from nuphos.ai/download.
  2. Sign in and create a workspace for your team.
  3. Connect a cloud account and create a least-privilege IAM role.
  4. Link your existing Claude Code subscription.

Example: running a cloud DevOps agent with approvals

  1. Start a session in a staging environment.
  2. Ask the agent to investigate a crash-looping pod.
  3. Review the generated plan and approve it.
  4. Check the audit log after the change.

Review and export the result

  1. Confirm the session role has only the permissions you granted.
  2. Verify each applied change appears in the audit trail.
Example prompt suggested by our editors (not a recorded output of the product)
Investigate why the middle-out pods in the staging namespace are in CrashLoopBackOff and propose a fix for approval.
