People leave Wave when 30 free minutes a month run out, since unlimited recording needs Pro. Teams needs at least 5 users, prices may vary by platform and region, and audio is uploaded to servers for transcription.
Otter.ai records, transcribes and summarizes Zoom, Teams and Google Meet calls and has AI chat; Pro is $16.99 per user per month and there is a free tier, so it suits you if the calls are online meetings. Gemini Notebook (formerly NotebookLM) is different: it answers questions and builds summaries, audio and slides from sources you add, and has a free tier, but its starting price is not stated in our verified data.
"Better suited" below is based on documented features and pricing from our verified profiles, not on a head-to-head test. Prices are USD as published by each vendor.
