Skiddee meters video in credits. Longer videos cost more credits, monthly plan credits do not roll over so unused ones vanish, and free output keeps a watermark; removing it and getting 2K needs a top-up or paid plan. You need an account. Free gives 1,500 credits at signup with no card, a $15 top-up buys 4,500 credits, and plans are Creator $29, Plus $59 and Pro $149 per month. Prices checked on 2026-09-29.
Synthesia Starter is $29 per month billed monthly and focuses on avatar videos, with a free tier. Runway Standard is $15 per month per user for generative video and also has a free tier. Descript Hobbyist is $16 per month per editor billed annually and works best if you edit by transcript. All three have a free tier, but none is listed as turning a pasted script into an illustrated, narrated video.
