Main reason people look elsewhere: The Free plan is limited to 2 trackers and 3 updates per day, and chat, tracker runs and podcasts all consume credits.
"Better suited" below is based on documented features and pricing from our verified profiles, not on a head-to-head test. Prices are USD as published by each vendor.
Taken from the documented limitations in our nbot.ai profile.

|---|---|---|---|---|
| nbot.ai (this page) | $9.99/mo (Plus) | Yes | Web, Mobile | The Free plan is limited to 2 trackers and 3 updates per day, and chat, tracker runs and podcasts all consume credits. |
| Perplexity | $10/mo (Education Pro (consumer, verified students/faculty)) | Yes | Web, API | The consumer pricing page is blocked to automated checks, so the Pro price could not be confirmed here, and free-tier Pro Search and Research access are described only as 'very limited' / 'limited'. |
| Gemini Notebook (formerly NotebookLM) | Not published | Yes | Web, Mobile | Free tier has standard usage limits and 50 sources per notebook; higher limits need a Google AI Plus, Pro or Ultra plan, which Google says are only available in specific regions. |
