Use Google Pics if your organization is already on Workspace Business Standard or higher, or you subscribe to Google AI Pro or Ultra, and you want AI image generation and editing inside Docs, Slides and Drive.
Google Pics cannot be bought on its own, and there is no standalone free plan. It arrives as part of a Google Workspace edition or a Google AI plan, so the real question is which bundle you already pay for. The Workspace route starts at Business Standard and higher, where Pics is included alongside 2 TB of pooled storage on Standard. Generative usage limits apply on every route.
