Best for solo creators on Mac/iPhone who want free, watermark-free editing with AI features, no account required, processing stays on device.
Zella is sold as one-time purchases, not subscriptions. The Free tier is the full product rather than a trial: complete editor, all AI features, unlimited watermark-free recording, no account and no expiration. Exports are capped at 2 minutes and 1080p, and the advanced tools (keyframes, masks, curves) are locked.
Zella Pro is a single $89 payment that covers Mac and iPhone with no renewal. It removes the length cap and adds 4K export (8K on Mac). Zella Founder is a single $299 payment that adds all future major versions, since Pro covers 1.x only, plus Family Sharing for up to 5 additional members. Prices checked on 2026-09-29.
