Was Vercel MCP ist

Vercel MCP is Vercel's official remote MCP server with OAuth, hosted at https://mcp.vercel.com. It lets AI assistants search Vercel documentation, manage teams, projects and deployments, and query Web Analytics. It is in Beta on all plans and works only with AI clients reviewed and approved by Vercel.

So installieren Sie Vercel MCP

Sie benötigen: A Vercel account (OAuth login) for authenticated tools; An MCP client approved by Vercel; Claude custom connectors need Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise plan

  1. Run: npx -y add-mcp https://mcp.vercel.com -g (configures all detected clients)
  2. Or in Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http vercel https://mcp.vercel.com
  3. Or in Codex CLI: codex mcp add vercel --url https://mcp.vercel.com
  4. Start the client and authenticate with Vercel (in Claude Code type /mcp)

  • Requires explicit user consent per client connection (confused deputy protection)
  • Vercel advises enabling human confirmation and warns about prompt injection from untrusted tools
