clangd-lsp connects the C/C++ language server to Claude Code, giving it code intelligence and diagnostics for c, .h, .cpp, .cc, .cxx, .hpp, .hxx, .C, .H files. The plugin only wires up the server; the server binary must be installed separately.

Install the language server binary first (the plugin does not bundle it):
macOS: brew install llvm, then add /opt/homebrew/opt/llvm/bin to PATH
Ubuntu/Debian: sudo apt install clangd (Fedora: sudo dnf install clang-tools-extra; Arch: sudo pacman -S clang)
Windows: winget install LLVM.LLVM or download from LLVM releases
Install the plugin: /plugin install clangd-lsp@claude-plugins-official
