Coding · alternatives
Documented drawbacks of Skills.sh: the site does not guarantee the quality or security of listed skills, creating packs requires signing in with Vercel, it needs a CLI and an agent to be useful, and no pricing page was found. Installing packs needs no sign-in.
Our catalog lists four alternatives, all AI coding or assistant tools rather than skill directories: GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude and Devin Desktop (formerly Windsurf). All four have free plans or tiers.
"Better suited" below is based on documented features and pricing from our verified profiles, not on a head-to-head test. Prices are USD as published by each vendor.

| Devin Desktop (formerly Windsurf) | $20/mo (Pro) | Yes | Desktop | Free plan has light agent quota and limited model availability; enterprise features require contact. |
