ChatGPT has two pricing models. Personal plans are flat monthly subscriptions per user: Free at $0, Go, Plus at $20 per month, and three Pro tiers at $100, $200 and $500 per month. Team plans are billed per seat: Business Standard is $25 per seat per month, or $20 billed annually, and Business Premium is $125 per seat per month, or $100 billed annually. Enterprise is custom and sold on annual plans through sales.
The free tier covers unlimited everyday text chats with GPT-5.6 Luna, subject to abuse safeguards, plus web search, image creation and file uploads with separate limits. The cheapest documented paid step, Plus at $20 per month, adds advanced reasoning with GPT-6, expanded deep research, projects and scheduled tasks, and expanded Codex usage. Go, Plus and Pro have no annual option. The OpenAI API is a separate product billed on its own.
